'BAFTA Brits To Watch' event: Fashion Hits and Fines

So all the A-star celeb of Hollywood went all out cause they're meeting the royals guys! It's like Oscar out here! That's why I put 'Hits and Fine(s)' instead of the usual 'Hits and Misses' because there are barely a miss here. So what are we waitin' for? Lets judge'em!

Leslie Mann in L'Wren Scott

At first I hate the dress but the more I look at it the more I think this is kinda fab. It fits her like dreams (no navel showing!) and I really love how the color of the dress really match that of her skin. It's almost like a perfect nude dress or something. Could use some color in accessorizing, or maybe some showy ones. But I'm not pretty sure of that hulla-hoop earrings.

Cat Deeley in Dior

Okay. This might be a slight miss. I hate the dress. I think it's ugly, it's too loose and too wrinkly and it reminds me of some cheap bedsheet.

Elisabeth Moss in J. Mandel
Elisabeth Moss in beige dress and beige accessory and beige makeups? YAWN. (no, I seriously yawn when I saw this)

Kristin Chenoweth in BCBG Max Azria

The material of the dress is just not working for me. It make the dress look cheap. Not loving her hair too.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw in Reem Arca

It's a standard meet-the-royals look. Very minimal and demure. Finely-played but kinda boring.

Mary Louise Parker in Dolce & Gabbana

Love the dress and the color and love her expression was all like, "Oh come on guys. Chill. It's just the Dutch and Dutchess of Cambridge." And super love that pink clutch.

Maria Bello in Donna Karan

I'm sorry but I just can't tolerate such wrinkly mess. Maybe it won't look so wrinkly and cheap if the color is not silver. I love the design and she looks beautiful but it's not an easy dress to pull off. There's too much going on there with the shiny material, the braid, those foldings and those WRINKLES. This is when minimal accessorizing is much needed and plus point for her for getting that part right.

Elizabeth Banks in Versace

One needs to understand that just because one's dress got gold buttons doesn't mean that one should match it with gold accessories. It's kinda tacky. Other than that, it's a pretty and eye-catching dress (not the usual sweet and lovely and demure because-they-are-royal dress) but wrong heels though.

Rita Wilson
Love, love, love the detailing of the dress. Hate, hate, hate that shoelaces she use as a belt.

Okay. This too is a miss. I don't have that much of an issue with that toilet rug she's carrying around or her ugly handbag or her junior prom heels but honey, what the fuck have you done to that Prada dress? It's beyond recognition!

Blake Lively in Marchesa

Curtain.

Poor Blake. I think she's trying hard to convince people how she's not all boobs and legs on the red carpet. But what the heck? I mean, she's not Miley-Cyrus trashy or Gaga-obnoxious or anything. Girlfriend, my advice is, if you have it, flaunt it. No need to hide behind those 50-miles of fabrics, geez...

Transparent heels are an exception though.
